If you wear glasses and have never been able to go scuba diving and properly observe the marine life , you're in luck! Thanks to our motorized scooter, you can enjoy a sport that was previously off-limits to people who wear glasses. How is this possible? Thanks to the bell effect created by the glass that covers your entire upper body.
This is a unique tour in Punta Cana , where you can enjoy a new way to snorkel. Suitable for the whole family , whether you're a teenager or an adult, you'll enjoy the coral reefs and the fish and marine life that inhabit this area of the Caribbean. On this tour, we'll take you to "El Niño ," an excellent spot for diving enthusiasts.
The price includes all equipment , plus a guide who will be attentive to you at all times.
At Cabeza de Toro beach we have a very comfortable platform to start the dive.
All that's left for you to do is enjoy yourself, and at a depth of 4 meters you can have direct contact with the marine fauna and flora for 15 minutes.

Perhaps the main reason you shouldn’t miss this activity is the sheer fun it offers. It’s not every day you get the chance to be at the helm of a motorized device that takes you underwater . And if you can do it in the stunning marine life of the Dominican Republic, even better. The underwater scooter is also known as a DPV, which stands for Diver Propulsion Vehicle .
The strangest thing of all is that this type of water transport already existed more than 70 years ago . During World War II, and for military purposes, water scooters were used by some soldiers. Generally, it consists of a propulsion system made with an electric motor and a propeller that transports us underwater at low speed.
Itinerary of our Scuba Doo excursion
We will pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana depending on the time you have chosen to take you to the beautiful Cabeza de Toro beach.
There, we’ll board a glass-bottom boat that will take us to the platform in a 30-minute trip. We’ll then get equipped with wetsuits and electric scooters, which we’ll use to dive to a depth of about 4 meters for a 15-minute dive.
Think piloting an underwater scooter is complicated? Don’t worry. Our Scuba Doo scooters are easy to pilot. No prior experience is necessary!
During the dive, a guide will help you move beneath the surface to explore the beautiful seabed of Punta Cana.
To conclude the activity, we’ll sail to El Niño : one of the main diving spots in Punta Cana . There we’ll go snorkeling !
After finishing diving at this beautiful spot, we will return to Cabeza de Toro to take you back to your hotel or resort.
The Scuba Doo tour runs every day except Sunday, in the morning and afternoon. Return to your hotel is scheduled for either 11:20 or 15:30, depending on the tour you choose.
